October, 15, 2024, Vice Executive Director of SERVE, I.P., Mrs. Agusta Antonia Gomes M.Phil accompanied by Senior Supervisor for Business Registration Officer and Focal Point of SERVE, I.P for Sectoral Line met with SECOOP through the National Directorate of Cooperative Development. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the technical mechanism of coordination line for preparation to harmonize Decree Law No.37/2023, 31 May about Commercial and Cooperative Registration second amendment of Decree Law No.16/2004, 1 October. Amendment to the Decree Law in the context of Public Administration reform with the objective to contribute to the simplification and reduction of bureaucracy in cooperative registration by providing a more adequate legal framework for the creation of new cooperatives and legalization of existing cooperatives subject to commercial registration which will be held only in SERVE, I.P from the meeting SERVE, I.P this week will also meet with the Ministry of Justice through the National Directorate of Notary. 2025 SERVE, I.P has begun to initialize commercial and cooperative registration.
