Dili, April 11, 2023, SERVE, I.P. with the support of the IFC, the Government of Japan and Prosivu Australia, held with a workshop for the implementation of decree-law number 83/2023 of 23 November. Executive Director of SERVE, I.P., Mr. Florêncio da Conceição Sanches, in his speech, refuted the importance of this amendment to the decree-law to facilitate the private sector in the licensing process or obtaining licenses.

The technical team of IFC, MCAE and SERVE,I.P. presented the Decree-Law 83/2022 in detail to the presents that coming mainly from the Timorese private sector represented by CCI-TL. This decree-law, which will begin in June of this year, was approved last year by the council of ministers and approved and promulgated by His Excellency the President of the Timorese Republic and later released in the newspaper of the republic, Jornal da República.

President of CCI-TL, Ambassador of Japan, representative of IFC, Prosivu Australia and other guests and representatives of various government ministerial institutions and timorese private entrepreneurs were present at this event, which will have been the beginning of several other socialization events in the future.
