Bobonaro, January 23, 2023, Executive Director of SERVE,IP, Mr. Florêncio da Conceição Sanches, in the company of the working team as members of the technical group for accession to the WTO, represented the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Eng. Joaquim Amaral, in the presentation that took place in the municipality of Bobonaro.

In his speech, Florêncio Sanches underlines the main objective of the process of Timor-Leste joining the WTO and the meaning of the word trade which means producing everything that is related to commercial activities. The FS also points out that if everything goes according to plan, this year Timor-Leste will become a member of the WTO. If this happens, it will be due to the will of all of us and not just the will of the government.

The consultation was opened by representative of the president of the administration of the municipality of Bobonaro and had the participation of the administrator of the municipality of Bobonaro, heads of sucos, National Director of Bobonaro, the OMC team and also the Police of Bobonaro.
