Liquiça, January 23, 2023, Executive Director of SERVE,IP, Mr. Florêncio da Conceição Sanches, was part of working team as members of the technical group for accession to the WTO, that took place in the municipality of Liquiça.

The Executive Director of TradeInvest, Mr. Arcanjo da Silva, represents the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Eng. Joaquim Amaral, saying that the government and the state appreciate the collaboration of local authorities, chiefs of sucos, as representatives of the municipality in participating in this consultation session on TL’s accession to the WTO. Timor-Leste’s entry into the WTO allows TL to integrate its regional economy into ASEAN. After a long process, leaders, local authorities and the private sector are the main actors to benefit from our integration and allow the development of the Timor-Leste as a nation.

This socialization was opened by the representative of the municipality administrator and was held at the Tokodede meeting room in the municipality of Liquiça, and also had the participation of national directors of the municipality, students, civil security, members of PNTL from the municipality of Liquiça.
