Oecusse, January 30, 2023, Executive Director of SERVE,IP, Mr. Florêncio da Conceição Sanches, in the company of the working team as members of the technical group for accession to the WTO, represented the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Eng. Joaquim Amaral, in the presentation that took place in the municipality of Oecusse, Região Administrativa Especial Oe-Cusse Ambeno (RAEOA).

The Executive Director of SERVE, I.P. underlines by saying that the government and the state are making a great effort for Timor-Leste to make part of World Trade Organization and it can bring great benefits to the entire Timorese territory with a small population. Mr. Florêncio Sanches goes on to say that on behalf of Minister MCAE he would like to thank the municipality for its efforts through the president of the Special Administrative Region Authority of Oecusse Ambeno (RAEOA) of East Timor, Mr. Arsénio Paixão Bano in getting everyone for this discussion.

At the opening of this ceremony, the president, Mr. Arsenio Paixão Bano, said in conclusion that RAEOA would like to thank entire team, starting from Mr. Estanilau Aleixo da Silva, Executive Director of SERVE,I.P. and the team for their willingness to share all information that has to do with the WTO and furthermore asked all who were presented to pay attention to the presentation on all the benefits of TL’s accession to the WTO.

The consultation had the participation of the heads of sucos, the post administrator, local authorities such as PNTL, maritime police, F-FDTL and directors of the ministries and its took place in the Administrative meeting room of the Special Administrative Region Oecusse Ambeno (RAEOA) East Timor.
